As of June 30, 2019, 135 persons are suspected of committing corruption crimes within 745 criminal proceeding investigated by the Detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine jointly with the prosecutors of Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO). The indictments as of 362 persons were sent to court.
In June, the NABU and the SAPO sent to court a number of cases as of top-corruption. In particular, among them there are following:
- eight persons involved in embezzlement of 16.68 million UAH allocated for the engineering and set up of the Ukrainian-Russian State Border, territories adjacent to the Anti-Terrorist Operation Zone and to Autonomous Republic of Crimea (also known as Ukrainian Wall or European Wall) (Part 5 Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)
- Odesa City Mayor, who is suspected of submitting false data to e-declaration (Article 366-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)
- former General Director of the State Specialized Enterprise “Chernobyl Spetskombinat”, who is accused of abuse of office (Part 2 Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
An investigation as of the fact of receiving an improper advantage by the judge of the Rakhivsky District Court (Zakarpattia Region) was completed last month. Now the suspected judge and his defense had been granted with access to the material of criminal proceeding.
One more judge (of Commercial Court of Sumy Region) was exposed on receiving an improper advantage. He was given a notice of suspicion of committing a crime under Part 3 Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Ex-Head of the subsidiary company "Centrgas" (falls within the scope of management of the Open Joint-Stock Company "Kirovohradgas") was given a notice of suspicion of public funds embezzlement. The actions of official are qualified under Part 5 Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
In addition, in June the NABU helped Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine to expose the conspiracy of two companies participating in the procurement procedures for construction services for three objects in Kyiv.

According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine a person is considered not-guilty in commission of crime and cannot be a subject to criminal punishment, until he or she is found guilty by the court.
