NABU started new investigations based on e-declarations analysis results

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) registered three more criminal proceedings as of the facts of submission of false information to e-declarations (Article 366-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) by MPs and by Heads of Regional State Administrations.Information on the criminal proceeding as of an MP was entered into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations on the basis of analytical research conducted by the Information Processing and Analysis Department of the NABU.

As a result of the review of appeals submitted by one of Ukrainian NGOs  information as of the facts of submission of false data to e-declarations by a Head of Regional State Administration and deliberate failure to submit an e-declaration by another Head of Regional State Administration was entered into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations.

It should be reminded that having analyzed information of submitted e-declarations, on November 17, 2016, the NABU registered the first three proceedings as of the facts of illegal enrichment (Part 2 and Part 3 Article 368-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).  Two criminal proceedings were opened as of MPs and one as of a representative of judicial power. In December the NABU registered seven more criminal proceedings.

The pre-trial investigation is in progress.
