USD 90 thousand bribe-taking inside KRAIL: investigation completed

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor`s Office (SAPO) have completed the investigation into the receipt of a USD 90 thousand bribe by a member of the Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries (KRAIL). On June 14, 2022, the case file was disclosed for review by the defense. The actions of the official fall under Part 4 Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Six suspects in Ukrzaliznytsia PCR test fraud

On June 10, 2022, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor`s Office (SAPO) bring charges against six persons who attempted to misappropriate UAH 4.94 million during a purchase of COVID-19 PCR testing services for Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways) staff. The actions of the suspects fall under Part 3 Article 15, Part 5 Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

NABU completes investigation into non-declaration of UAH 88 million by MP

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor`s Office (SAPO) have completed an investigation of an incumbent MP charged with concealing certain details in his asset/income declaration for 2020. On June 7, 2022, the detectives disclosed the case file for review before sending it to the High Anti-Corruption Court.

NABU and students' educational project receives international recognition

The All-Ukrainian Anti-Corruption Moot Court (VAM) received an honorable mention from the independent multidisciplinary organization World Justice Project. VAM project was nominated in the Anti-corruption and Open Government category and selected out of 305 applications from 188 countries for its innovative approach and impact on solving a pressing rule of law challenge and the fight against corruption.

Results of the online voting for NABU's COC-2022

On June 1, 2022, the online voting for the new composition of NABU's Civil Oversight Council took place. The results have been published on National Bureau's official website as per the Regulations on the Civil Oversight Council at the National Anti-Сorruption Bureau of Ukraine.

Сandidates from six NGOs have been selected: Anticorruption Axe, Veteran Axe, Sororitas, Xenos, Ukrainian Law Community, and Ahronomichne without corruption. Civil control.

MOD official's attempted bribery: investigation completed

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor`s Office (SAPO) have completed a pre-trial investigation of the head of a structural unit of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine suspected of an attempt to transfer UAH 24 million in undue benefit to influence the audit conducted by the ministry. His actions fall under Part 3 Art. 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

NABU, SAPO help return Zaporizhzhia Titanium and Magnesium Combine to state ownership

The Civil Court of Cassation has upheld previous court decisions to end the agreement on the establishment of ZTMC Ltd, to which statutory fund an integral property complex of Zaporizhzhia Titanium and Magnesium Combine was included in 2013. This final decision was adopted on May 23, 2022. In fact, it means the return of a unique enterprise to state ownership.
