NABU, Restoration Agency to cooperate for Ukraine's reconstruction

There should be no place for corruption in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine. In order to prevent its possible manifestations, NABU will strengthen cooperation with the State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine (Restoration Agency). Director of the National Bureau Semen Kryvonos and Head of the State Agency Mustafa Nayyem signed a memorandum, defining the main areas of cooperation and obligations of the parties.

Semen Kryvonos met with G7, EU ambassadors: No compromises when it comes to the independence of NABU and me as its director

The fight against corruption is important, and that is why we have supported and will continue to support NABU on this path. This was stated by the G7 and EU ambassadors during a meeting with the Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine Semen Kryvonos.

First episode of "Rotterdam Plus" case sent to court

NABU and SAPO have sent to court the first episode of the "Rotterdam Plus", accusing six persons of causing damages to electricity consumers worth over UAH 19 billion during 2016-2017. The actions of all the accused fall under Part 2 Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine ("Abuse of official position"). The representatives of the companies are additionally accused of abetting.

Semen Kryvonos, appointed on March 6 as the Director of the National Bureau, is set to preserve the independence of the Bureau and increase its efficiency. Addressing the staff, he noted: "It is an honor for me to be part of this powerful team. You have shown incredible results in 7 years of work. Therefore, the main task that I set before myself is to preserve the achievements and independence of the Bureau's staff, as well as to increase the efficiency of work."

USD 100,000, UAH 2 million to be spent on drones thanks to NABU, SAPO

On March 2, 2023, the High Anti-Corruption Court found guilty a representative of one of the capital's developers and the mayor of Poltava. Both entered into plea agreements and pledged to transfer USD 100,000 and UAH 2 million, respectively, for the Army of Drones project within the United24 initiative.

NABU, SAPO suspect ex-infrastructure minister of causing over USD 30 million in losses

On Feb. 22, 2023, NABU and SAPO notified the ex-minister of infrastructure and his first deputy of suspicion of abuses, which caused the state to sustain losses exceeding USD 30 million. Their actions fall under Part 2 Art. 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
