The investigation of the Head of State Commercial Sea Port "Chernomorsk" and his accomplice, who were exposed accepting a USD 250 thousand of improper advantage, has been completed. On Sept. 13, 2021, the defense was granted access to the case files. Upon being examined, they will be referred to court. The actions of the suspects fall under Part 4 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) have completed a pre-trial investigation into a corruption scheme used by Arkona Gas-Energy LLC to get the permit to develop the subsoil reserves of the Svistunkivsko-Chervonolutsky gas condensate field (located in Poltava region) at an artificially reduced cost. As a result, the State lost UAH 196.8 million, which the LLC had to pay to obtain a special permit.

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) under the procedural guidance of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) have completed a pre-trial investigation into a corruption scheme resulting in UAH 103 million losses to the company during the purchase of diesel fuel for Ukrzaliznytsia PJSC. On July 14, 2021, the case materials were disclosed to three suspects:

On May 1, 2021, NABU and SAPO completed an investigation in respect of an expert who drew up an untrue report that was further used by court to reject the state’s ownership of a part of the Samara-Western Direction oil product pipeline. The case materials were disclosed to the defense for review. The actions of the expert fall under Part 3 Article 365-2, Part 2 Article 384 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. 

The Detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) under the procedural guidance of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) completed a pre-trial investigation of the criminal proceeding as of the facts of receiving  an improper advantage by the Head of one of the Regional State Administrations (RSA) (equivalent to the Governor) and to the official of the RSA. On November 11, 2019, suspects and the defense had been granted with access to criminal proceeding for review. They actions are qualified under Part 4 Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The Detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) under the procedural guidance of the prosecutors of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) completed a pre-trial investigation as of the facts of abuse of office by officials of Energomerezha HC PrJSC, Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo PJSC and Cherkasyoblenergo PJSC. On October 23, 2020, suspects and their defense had been granted with access to the investigation materials. Then the indictment will be drawn up and sent to court.

The pre-trial investigation as of the Head of Western Interregional Department of the Criminal Sentence Enforcement and Probation of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine was completed. On October 15, 2020, the suspect and the defense had been granted with access to criminal proceeding for review.

The pre-trial investigation as of the Head of the Capital Construction Department of the Donetsk Regional State Administration was completed. The official is suspected of causing UAH 2.87 million damages to the Ministry of Defenсe of Ukraine. These funds were allocated for the construction of strongholds in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area. On July 29, 2020, the suspect and his defense had been granted with access to investigation materials for review.

The Detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutors of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor`s Office (SAPO) completed a pre-trial investigation as of the facts of misappropriation of a large batch of tobacco products, seized from illegal turnover. On July 20, 2020, the suspects and their defense had been granted with access to the materials of the investigation. 

The investigation as of the facts of illegally received from the state budget cash compensation payments in the amount of UAH 361 thousand for renting a room in the “Kyiv” Hotel by the Member of Parliament (MP) of the VII and VIII convocations was completed. On May 19, 2020, the indictment was sent to court. The person is accused of committing a crime under Part 2 Article 364 (Abuse of authority or office) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
