In the last part of the video story of Lesiia Ivanova (journalist of «BIHUS.INFO») accusations of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) engaged and cooperate with companies involved in corruption during purchases in the defense complex were made. The Detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) continue to expose corruption schemes without regard to their positions and political expediency, despite increasing attempts to influence the activities of the institution. This was emphasized by the NABU Director Artem Sytnyk on October 3, 2018, at the meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Corruption Prevention and Counteraction.

The Draft Law № 6232 on amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, adopted by Ukrainian Parliament in second reading on October 3, contains a number of contradictions that may paralyze the work of investigatory authorities in case the amendments to the Code come into force.

Foreign banks and companies are involved in crime schemes, investigated by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, and more than one third of the damage done to the State from these crimes, relates to them.

Among more than three hundred proceedings which are investigated by the Detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU), 49 relate to the facts of corruption at State Enterprises (SE). The NABU Detectives investigate proceedings related to 35 SE, 15 of which are listed in the TOP-100 Ukrainian SE (in terms of assets according to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine).

Ukrainian State Enterprises (SE) need investment support but the corruption schemes (usually initiated by the top-management of the SE) hinder investments. This was stressed by the Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) Artem Sytnyk at the 13th Annual Investment Conference Dragon Capital on March 16-17, 2017 in Kyiv.
