First episode of "Rotterdam Plus" case sent to court

NABU and SAPO have sent to court the first episode of the "Rotterdam Plus", accusing six persons of causing damages to electricity consumers worth over UAH 19 billion during 2016-2017. The actions of all the accused fall under Part 2 Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine ("Abuse of official position"). The representatives of the companies are additionally accused of abetting.

Embezzlement of UAH 18 million from Antonov SE: two suspects

On March 10, 2023, NABU and SAPO notified the former official of Antonov SE (a subsidiary of Ukroboronprom State Concern) and the director of a lawyer's association of suspicion of embezzling more than UAH 18 million from the enterprise and issuing false official documents.

NABU, SAPO expose land appropriation scheme, suspect lawmaker

On March 10, 2023, NABU and SAPO served charges on an incumbent MP and three other persons who attempted to take over an 8-hectare land plot in Kyiv. The actions of all suspects fall under Part 3 Art. 15 Part 2 Art. 28 Part 2 Art. 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

"Pervomaiskvuhillia" case: a new episode

On March 9, 2023, NABU and SAPO notified the former acting CEO of Pervomaiskvugillia SE of suspicion of inflicting UAH 14.6 million losses during the purchase of equipment to prevent a man-made emergency due to the flooding of mines in the Luhansk region. The actions of the suspect fall under Part 5 Art. 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Semen Kryvonos, appointed on March 6 as the Director of the National Bureau, is set to preserve the independence of the Bureau and increase its efficiency. Therefore, the main task that I set before myself is to preserve the achievements and independence of the Bureau's staff, as well as to increase the efficiency of work."
