The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, together with the Security Service of Ukraine, have exposed an organized group involved in the embezzlement of funds from JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" during the repair of track machines.
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, and the Security Service of Ukraine have exposed the city mayor and the head of the district council in Zakarpattia who abused their official positions to sell a land plot in the city center, over 3 hectares in size, at a significantly undervalued price.
The National Bureau and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will deepen their cooperation to enhance the effectiveness of investigations into high-level corruption. NABU and SAPO, together with the Department of Internal Security of the National Police, have charged the former head of the State Migration Service of Ukraine with misappropriation of over UAH 88 million.
