UAH 56 million to reinforce army thanks to NABU, SAPO

On Nov. 21, 2023, the High Anti-Corruption Court collected bail of UAH 56 million put up for an MP. The lawmaker, along with other accomplices, is accused of embezzling UAH 93 million from the Production Support Center branch of Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways) State Enterprise

At the motion of SAPO prosecutors, the HACC seized the money and ordered to use it reinforce the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In total, more than UAH 91 million put up in bail within the case has been collected to support the military.
