Without victory, effective recovery of the country is impossible – Semen Kryvonos
Victory in the war as a key to recovery and the steps required to maximize its effectiveness were the focus of a speech by NABU Director Semen Kryvonos during the event, “International Anti-Corruption Day - from Euromaidan to European Integration.”
“We must stand firm. If we lose, there will be nothing left to recover,” said Semen Kryvonos at the outset.
He emphasized that the country's security is the top priority right now, which is contingent on the effectiveness of anticorruption activity.
According to the head of NABU, effective recovery requires transparent mechanisms, honest government management, and completion of core reforms.
NABU, for its part, continues to detect corruption in real time, expanding its team, and fostering institutional development to be prepared for future challenges, Semen Kryvonos concluded.
