US congressional delegation visits NABU
The specifics of the work of Ukraine's anticorruption agencies, their achievements and challenges, and the strengthening of international cooperation were the key topics at a meeting between the NABU, SAPO heads and representatives of the US Congress.
The parties focused on the latest high-profile investigations, particularly into corruption crimes committed during russia's full-scale invasion. NABU Director Semen Kryvonos noted that the Bureau and SAPO's performance is steadily improving, with the first half of this year being no exception.
Participants of the meeting paid special attention to enhancing the effectiveness of investigations by establishing an independent expert institution within NABU and implementing the agency's right to independent wiretapping.
Semen Kryvonos and SAPO Head Oleksandr Klymenko thanked the representatives of the US Congress and international partners for their continued support of our country in confronting the external enemy and fighting corruption, the internal enemy.
