NABU Director Semen Kryvonos appoints Bureau's First Deputy Director
The position has been filled by Denys Giulmahomedov, who previously served as Deputy Director for Digital Development and Digital Transformation.
Denys has been working at the institution since its establishment in 2015, starting as a detective.
In the summer of 2016, he headed one of the National Bureau's detective units specializing in investigating corruption crimes at Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways). The unit has been responsible for investigating almost all railroad corruption cases, as well as a number of high-profile cases, such as Rotterdam+, criminal organizations that controlled shadow financial flows in Odesa, and the gas case of the former head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Transport.
In the fall of 2019, Denys Giulmagomedov participated in the project to develop the eCase Management System, an electronic criminal proceeding's framework, and ended up leading it in January 2022.
In October 2023, Denys Giulmagomedov was appointed Deputy Director for Digital Development and Digital Transformation.
He is also the co-author of the practical manuals "Standards of Pre-trial Investigation"and "Standards of Management in Criminal Justice," as well as the author of scientific and journalistic articles on management in pre-trial investigation bodies.
He has 14 years of experience in law enforcement.
