NABU and EBRD step up cooperation
The National Bureau and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will deepen their cooperation to enhance the effectiveness of investigations into high-level corruption. This was agreed at a meeting on June 24, 2024 between Jelena Madir, Chief Compliance Officer of EBRD, and Semen Kryvonos, NABU's Director.
In particular, NABU and the EBRD agreed on staff training regarding anti-corruption investigations in the field of public procurement.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is an international financial institution that assists countries across three continents, including in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia, in further progressing towards open market-oriented economies and the promotion of private and entrepreneurial initiative. The EBRD was founded in 1991, its headquarters sitting in London, United Kingdom.
