NABU, CBA join forces: corruption has no place in post-war reconstruction of Ukraine

Detecting, combating, and preventing corrupt practices within projects related to Ukraine's recovery is an urgent challenge. In order to overcome it, Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau Semen Kryvonos and Head of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Stróżny have signed a cooperation agreement.

The memorandum provides for the exchange of analytical data, developments, research, and information. It also involves training, sharing expertise, and jointly undertaking tasks in preventing and countering economic and corruption-related crimes.

"NABU already has historical ties and successful cases with the CBA. Modern corruption has gone transnational. Schemes and practices have no borders, and cooperation with foreign jurisdictions significantly influences the Bureau's effectiveness," said Semen Kryvonos. He expressed confidence that the signed document would contribute to better working and friendly relations between the countries and anti-corruption bodies.

One of the successful examples of collaboration between NABU and the CBA is the "Ukravtodor" case.
