NABU employees took part in the “Back to Alma Mater” project for students

Integrity learning is an important step in the fight against corruption. It was the main topic of discussion of the employees of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine with pupils and students on the first day of the new school year.

As part of the “Back to Alma Mater” project, thirteen NABU employees visited their native schools and universities on Knowledge Day. The visits covered regions from Ivano-Frankivsk to Luhansk, from Kharkiv to Kherson.

2,380 pupils and students not only got the information on the activities of the National Bureau, its tasks and work features. The NABU representatives answered all their questions like whether the NABU Detectives received threats or were offered the bribes, where people can learn how to become Detectives, how it possible to see the work of the Bureau from the inside. As well, the NABU employees shared their life stories and mentioned the influence of educational institutions on their work. Using the example of their professional activity, they showed the country provides to youth a real opportunity to realize its potential without corruption.
