NABU Director Semen Kryvonos: "It's an honor for me to be part of this powerful team"

Semen Kryvonos, appointed on March 6 as the Director of the National Bureau, is set to preserve the independence of the Bureau and increase its efficiency. Addressing the staff, he noted: "It is an honor for me to be part of this powerful team. You have shown incredible results in 7 years of work. Therefore, the main task that I set before myself is to preserve the achievements and independence of the Bureau's staff, as well as to increase the efficiency of work."

According to Semen Krivonos, the opinion of each employee will be heard and considered within the development strategy of the agency.

"We will move forward together and overcome all obstacles on the anti-corruption track, realizing our responsibility before the Ukrainians," he emphasized.

Gizo Uglava, the first deputy director, for his part, presented the NABU team as honest professionals, dedicated to their work and ready to expose, neutralize and prevent top corruption.

As reported, on March 6, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine appointed Semen Kryvonos as the director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine. He was chosen during a transparent competition by a commission that included representatives of international organizations. Semen Kryvonos became the second Director of NABU after Artem Sytnyk's term ended in April 2022.
