E-declaration misstatements: another MP notified of suspicion
On Dec. 27, 2022, NABU and SAPO notified an incumbent MP of suspicion of stating false data in his 2020 e-declaration. His actions fall under Part 1 Art. 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (as amended by the Law of Ukraine of 04.12.2020 No. 1074-IX).
As established, the lawmaker did not mention an apartment in downtown Kyiv, which he had rented for two years - since October 2019. The cost of the apartment exceeds UAH 3.6 million.
The MP also did not mention an outstanding USD 48.8 thousand bank loan.
The investigation of these facts was launched after a well-founded conclusion by the NACP.
