Results of the online voting for NABU's COC-2022

On June 1, 2022, the online voting for the new composition of NABU's Civil Oversight Council took place. The results have been published on National Bureau's official website as per the Regulations on the Civil Oversight Council at the National Anti-Сorruption Bureau of Ukraine.

Сandidates from six NGOs have been selected: Anticorruption Axe, Veteran Axe, Sororitas, Xenos, Ukrainian Law Community, and Ahronomichne without corruption. Civil control.

Four women and 11 men are among the winners. Seven of the 15 selected candidates were members of COC's previous convocation: Mark Savchuk, Viktor Prudkovskykh, Bohdan Kuzmych, Anastasiia Shuba, Artem Horeslavtsev, Ihor Symonenko, and Vladyslav Ivanchenko.

Traditionally, open source software allowing users to monitor the voting process in real time was used. The voting protocol, which contained coded data on the actions of each user, was publicly available throughout the vote. Immediately after its completion, the data on each voter was decoded, which allowed all candidates to see and analyze the statistical results before their official publication.

In addition, an independent observer, the Electronic Democracy NGO, monitored the process. It found no facts that would indicate an artificial increase in votes cast for the 15 people receiving the most support.

As stipulated by the COC Regulations, only the votes cast from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. were counted. According to the voting protocols posted on the official NABU website, 13,644 votes were registered.
