Over UAH 40 million go to Armed Forces thanks to NABU, SAPO

Two participants in the scheme to illegally sell the buildings of the National Cinematheque of Ukraine will transfer UAH 40.26 million to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This is stipulated by the plea agreements approved by the HACC, under which the convicted also commit to providing incriminating testimony against all persons involved in the crime.

As reported, during 2016-2019, the organizers of the crime ensured the illegal sale of the state enterprise's property with the participation of officials from the Ministry of Culture. The property in question is 14 buildings and facilities on the outskirts of Kyiv. The estimated value of the property is almost UAH 42 million.
