Ukraine joins OECD Working Group on Bribery

Ukraine has become a member of the OECD Working Group on Bribery — an international body that monitors efforts to combat the bribery of foreign public officials worldwide.

This is the result of Ukraine’s systematic cooperation with the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) in the field of anti-corruption policy. The next step is the ratification of the Convention on Combating Bribery of Foreign Public Officials in International Business Transactions.

Accession to the Convention opens up new opportunities for Ukraine in the area of international legal cooperation, particularly in the investigation of corruption offenses. It also means greater transparency, increased trust from international partners, and clear, predictable rules for business.

Since 2022, the working body responsible for preparing legislative changes and communicating with OECD representatives has been the Secretariat established under NABU and SAPO.
