Завершено слідство у справі керівниці депутатської фракції парламенту
NABU and SAPO have completed the pre-trial investigation against the head of a parliamentary faction of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. She is suspected of offering undue advantage to Members of Parliament of Ukraine.
The investigation established that in December 2025, even after NABU and SAPO exposed bribery involving parliamentarians, the suspect initiated negotiations with certain MPs to establish a remuneration system in exchange for voting loyalty.
The scheme envisaged a structured cooperation mechanism involving advance payments. The MPs were expected to follow specific instructions — voting "in favor" or "against," abstaining, or entirely refusing to participate in the vote.
The head of the parliamentary faction was served with a notice of suspicion in January 2026.
According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered not-guilty in the commission of a crime and cannot be subject to criminal punishment until he or she is found guilty by court.
