Dialogue on Combating Corruption: A Series of Lectures for Students
The Director of the Kharkiv Territorial Office of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, Yuriy Kravchenko, conducted a series of anti-corruption lectures for students from three cities — Kharkiv, Poltava, and Kremenchuk. The first meeting took place with law students from Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University. During this lecture, the future lawyers learned about the structure of NABU’s work, the requirements for detective candidates, and the role of whistleblowers in investigating high-profile corruption cases.
The next meeting was with law students of the Poltava Law Institute Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University. Yuriy Kravchenko provided a detailed overview of the key aspects of NABU's operations during wartime and the modern challenges in investigating corruption crimes. The students gained valuable insights into new investigative approaches in the context of Ukraine’s resistance to external aggression.
The final lecture was held for law students at the V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. During this session, Yuriy Kravchenko shared real cases from NABU investigations and emphasized the importance of legal education in fighting corruption.
Each of these meetings became an important step in shaping the practical knowledge of future legal professionals. By continuing its educational outreach among students, NABU highlights the crucial role the younger generation plays in securing Ukraine’s anti-corruption future.
