NABU detectives participated in the Client Consulting Tournament
The event took place on December 14-15 at the Lviv State University of Internal Affairs with the participation of male and female students of law clinics. It was attended by 11 teams that were pre-selected based on the results of a video recording of the first stage of the consultants' work with the client. Senior detective Pavlo Buzdyhan and detective Uliana Chuchkevych joined the judging committee of the 2023 Client Consulting Tournament. The theme of the competition is "Combating corruption, protecting the rights of whistleblowers: urgent challenges for Ukraine." At each stage, teams conducted interviews on a new case and provided advice to a client, whose role was played by guest actors.The winners of the tournament were the team of the Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University.
The 2023 Client Consulting Tournament is organized by the Association of Legal Clinics in partnership with the Lviv State University of Internal Affairs with the assistance of UNDP in Ukraine within the framework of the EU4Recovery - Community Empowerment in Ukraine (EU4Recovery) project with the financial support of the European Union.
