The work of anti-corruption agencies interferes with a corrupt system. The representatives of the system notice that the real results in fighting against top corruption and cannot accept the fact that they will have to take responsibility for their actions. This was stated by the participants of the public discussion ‘Who is interfered with independent anti-corruption agencies?’ The event was held on September 23, 2020, by the Civil Oversight Council at NABU.
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and international organizations, public activists and journalists called on citizens to fight against corruption. They all gathered at DumkoFest opinion festival, which took place in the Shevchenko park in Kyiv on September 14, 2019.
States that have a common border should work together to combat smuggling, which cause damage to the budgets of each of them. This was stated by the Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) Artem Sytnyk on June 4, 2019, at the seminar “International Co-operation in Preventing and Fighting Corruption at Borders”.
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine is the first law enforcement agency in Ukraine and one of the first law enforcement agencies in Europe and the world, which confirmed the full compliance of its anti-bribery management systems with the requirements of the international standard ISO 37001:2016. The NABU received the corresponding Certificate in April 2019.
