Based on NABU materials, SAPO appealed to the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) to declare the assets belonging to a judge of the Kyiv Region District Court unjustified and confiscate them to the state budget. The claim for civil confiscation was filed on Jan. 18, 2022.
On Dec. 13, 2021, the head of a district court of Vinnytsia region was notified of the completion of the investigation into extortion and acceptance of an undue benefit. The case materials were disclosed and will go to the High Anti-Corruption Court upon being reviewed by the defense. The actions of the judge fall under Part 3 Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
On Nov. 22, 2021, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) issued an indictment against a judge of the Sumy Region Commercial Court who is charged with accepting an undue benefit of USD 4 thousand. The actions of the accused fall under Part 3 Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
On Nov. 15, 2021, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) issued an indictment regarding the ex-judge of the Dniprovskyi District Court of Kyiv, who demanded and received USD 150 thousand of improper advantage. The actions of the accused fall under Part 4 Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (“Accepting an offer, promise or receiving an improper advantage by authorized person in a responsible position, accompanied by extortion”).
On Sept. 17, 2021, NABU and SAPO notified the Head of the Vinnytsia District Court of suspicion of accepting an improper advantage. The Prosecutor General signed a notice of suspicion. The actions of the official fall under Part 3 Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
