NABU and SAPO, in cooperation with the SSU in the Lviv region, have served charges on a former official of the Lviv Customs and a Ukrainian citizen whose actions caused damages to the state amounting to over UAH 15 million.
NABU and SAPO have completed the investigation into the former deputy prosecutor of the Lviv region suspected of embezzling UAH 1.2 million and abuse of office, which caused damage to the state of almost half a million hryvnias. His actions fall under Part 5 Art. 191 and Part 2 Art. 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
On Oct. 28, 2022, NABU and SAPO notified the former head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGS), the former head of the SBGS First Capital Development Department, and the director of a private development company of suspicion of abuse of power and official position, through which the developer illegally received more than UAH 10.68 million. The actions of the suspects fall under Part 2 Art. 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
On Aug. 26, 2022, the former deputy prosecutor of the Lviv region was notified of suspicion of embezzling UAH 1.2 million and abuse of office, which caused damage to the state of almost UAH 500 thousand. His actions fall under Part 5 Art. 191 of the Criminal Code and Part 2 Art. 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
On June 7, 2016 Taras Lopushanskiy was appointed the Director of the Lviv Territorial Office of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine. The NABU Director Artem Sytnyk signed the corresponding decree on Monday, June 6.
