NABU, SAPO complete investigation into ex-Lviv region deputy prosecutor

NABU and SAPO have completed the investigation into the former deputy prosecutor of the Lviv region suspected of embezzling UAH 1.2 million and abuse of office, which caused damage to the state of almost half a million hryvnias. His actions fall under Part 5 Art. 191 and Part 2 Art. 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.


Ex-DPSU head caught on corruption

On Oct. 28, 2022, NABU and SAPO notified the former head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (DPSU), the former head of the DPSU First Capital Development Department, and the director of a private development company of suspicion of abuse of power and official position, through which the developer illegally received more than UAH 10.68 million. The actions of the suspects fall under Part 2 Art. 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.


NABU first Territorial Office opens in Lviv

On August 12, 2016, the Lviv Territorial Office of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine officially started its work. Besides Lviv region, it will also work in Volyn, Zakarpattia, Chernivtsi, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne and Khmelnytsky region.
