On June 16, 2021, the Northern Commercial Court of Appeal upheld the decision of the first instance court, which invalidated the results of the auction for the sale of the assets of National Cinematheque of Ukraine SE (Natskinemateka). As a result, 14 buildings and facilities with total area of over 5 thousand sq.m. located across 8 hectares on the outskirts of Kyiv are to be returned to the State.
On June 15, 2021, NABU and SAPO filed an indictment regarding former Head of the Vinnytsia Oblast Road Service, who offered UAH 4.7 million of improper advantage to the Head of the Regional State Administration for amending the local budget expenditures. The actions of the accused fall under Part 3 Art. 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
On June 15, 2021, the NABU Detectives and SAPO Prosecutors served notices of suspicion to a former head of Ukragroleasing SE NJSC and his accomplice, the head of a private company. Their illegal actions inflicted losses worth UAH 4.9 million to the State. The actions of the suspects fall under Part 2 Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
NABU and SAPO have filed an indictment to court regarding two officials, who illegally leased the assets of Boryspil International Airport SE.
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine and the State Service for Urban Planning (SSUP) will strengthen cooperation in the sphere of prevention and fight against corruption. This is stated in the Memorandum signed on June 14, 2021, by NABU Director Artem Sytnyk, Minister of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Oleksii Chernyshov and SSUP Head Semen Kryvonos.
