On 11 March 2024, NABU and SAPO exposed a scheme that caused the loss of over UAH 200 million during the conclusion and execution of a natural gas production enhancement contract between the state-owned Ukrgazvydobuvannia JSC and a private foreign company.
On March 7, 2024, NABU and SAPO, with the operational support of the Strategic Investigations Department in the Ivano-Frankivsk region of the National Police, served charges on the organizer of the embezzlement of over UAH 14.8 million allocated for the construction of an educational complex in the village of Chukalivka, the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
On 4 March 2024, NABU and SAPO issued the indictment against the former head of the Supreme Court, who is accused of receiving an especially significant amount of undue advantage.
On 26 Feb. 2024, NABU and SAPO exposed an organized group, consisting of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" officials and entrepreneurs, who embezzled over UAH 11 million from the company.
2023 saw an increase in nearly all NABU and SAPO indicators, particularly in the number of notices of suspicion and cases referred to court, as emphasized by the heads of the anti-corruption authorities Semen Kryvonos and Oleksandr Klymenko during the presentation of NABU and SAPO's report for the second half of 2023.
