On April 21, 2023, an interdepartmental investigation team comprising NABU detectives and SBI investigators, under the procedural guidance of SAPO prosecutors, notified the ex-deputy minister of defense and the former head of one of the MOD departments of suspicion of abuses in the procurement of food for the Armed Forces. The actions of the suspects caused almost UAH 12 million in damages and hindered the military from carrying out their direct duties to defend the country. They fall under Part 2 Art. 28, Part 2 Art. 114-1, Part 2 Art. 28, Part 2 Art. 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Director of the National Bureau Semen Kryvonos and rector of Yaroslav Mudryi NLU Anatoliy Getman signed a memorandum of cooperation for the development of anti-corruption education in Ukraine. This will bring more opportunities for students to gain practical knowledge and skills, as well as unique experience in combating corruption in Ukraine.

The need to raise the number of detectives is predetermined by the challenges that Ukraine will face during its reconstruction. This was stressed by Director of the National Bureau Semen Kryvonos during the presentation of the State Anti-Corruption Program on April 5, 2023.

On March 22, 2023, NABU and SAPO exposed a criminal organization led by the former head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine. In the course of 2019-2021, its members embezzled UAH 500 million from JSC "Odesa Port Plant" and JSC "United Mining and Chemical Company". The amount of illegal profit received by the group during the entire period of control over Odesa Port Plant exceeds UAH 2 billion.

On March 20, 2023, NABU and SAPO announced suspicion on three accomplices of the ex-director of the State Reserve Agency of Ukraine, whose actions led to more than UAH 200 million in damages to the state.
