NABU and SAPO, in cooperation with the SSU in the Lviv region, have served charges on a former official of the Lviv Customs and a Ukrainian citizen whose actions caused damages to the state amounting to over UAH 15 million.

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Italian National Anti-Corruption Authority (Autorità Nazionale Anticorruzione - ANAC) have reached an agreement on future cooperation in detecting and combating corruption crimes, exchanging information, and sharing best practices in prevention offences. The NABU Director Semen Kryvonos and ANAC President Giuseppe Busia signed the Memorandum on August 20, 2024.
Continued support for anti-corruption initiatives and capacity building for the NABU were discussed at a meeting between NABU leadership and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine, Mr. Matsuda Kuninori, and the Director General of the JICA Department for Governance and Peacebuilding, Ms. Masuda Junko.
