On July 12, 2022, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) notified two former officials of Centrenergo PJSC (78.29% state-owned) of suspicion of abuse of power and embezzlement of over UAH 5.31 million. Their accomplice, the owner of a private company, was also notified of suspicion.

On July 7, 2022, the case file was disclosed to the defense. The actions of the chair and his deputy fall under Part 4 Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, of his accomplice – under Part 5 Article 27, Part 4 Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
On July 5, 2022, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) notified three persons of suspicion of embezzling over UAH 14 million during the construction of apartment buildings for border guards.
