Preserving achieved results and NABU's good practices is the biggest challenge of 2022 – Artem Sytnyk

NABU is an effective pre-trial investigation body that has proven its ability to counter top-level corruption in the last seven years. Therefore, it is extremely important to maintain the achieved results and established good practices. This is the biggest challenge of 2022 and the key task for a new NABU Director. This was emphasized by Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau Artem Sytnyk at the presentation of NABU's results in the second half of 2021.

NABU, SAPO file indictment against Vinnytsia district court head

On Feb. 10, 2022, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) filed an indictment against the chairman of one of the district courts of Vinnytsia region, who is suspected of receiving an undue benefit. The actions of the judge fall under Part 3 Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Kyiv City Council deputy exposed accepting UAH 1.26 million of undue benefit

On Feb. 9, 2022, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) exposed a deputy of the Kyiv City Council (chairman of one of the standing commissions of the Kyiv City Council) and five other persons receiving UAH 1.26 million of unlawful benefit for facilitating retail trade in the capital.
