Massive embezzlement of Kharkiv region forestry funds: investigation completed

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) have completed an investigation of the director of a state-owned forestry enterprise in Kharkiv region and the heads of four companies under his control (two of which are his relatives) suspected of seizing timber worth more than UAH 50 million. Their actions fall under Part 2 Art. 209, Part 5 Art. 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Embezzlement of Derzhinformiust funds: new episode

On April 27, 2022, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) notified former Derzhinformiust State Enterprise Director General of suspicion of misappropriating over UAH 7.7 million of public funds. His actions fall under Part 3 Art. 27, Part 5 Art. 191, and Part 3 Art. 209 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

NABU, SBU, prosecutor's office identify russian war criminals

On April 27, 2022, two russian servicemen - captain and major of the motorized rifle company of the 15th separate motorized rifle brigade of the 2nd guard's all-military army of the central military district of russia's armed forces - were charged with ill-treatment of prisoners of war. The actions of both fall under Part 1, Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. They were notified of suspicion in absentia and will soon be wanted.

USD 6 million bribe intended for NABU, SAPO leadership sent to Ukraine's army

The High Anti-Corruption Court has lifted the arrest from USD 6 million intended as a bribe for the leadership of NABU and SAPO. Thanks to NABU detectives and SAPO prosecutors who initiated the move, the funds (over UAH 170 million at the NBU exchange rate) have already been transferred to the needs of Ukraine's armed forces.
