NABU and SAPO notified Yanukovych era ex-deputy minister of ecology and natural resources and two foreign citizens of suspicion of embezzling UAH 32.048 million during the purchase of earth remote sensing services. On Jan. 22, 2023, NABU and SAPO notified the Deputy Minister of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of suspicion of requesting and accepting an undue advantage worth USD 400,000. His actions fall under Part 4 Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The charges were also brought against his confidant, an entrepreneur, and two accomplices.
On Jan. 19, 2023, NABU and SAPO notified the former Naftogaz of Ukraine board chair of suspicion of misappropriating over UAH 229 mln in 2018. His actions fall under Part 5 Art. 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
