The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, with operational support from the Security Service of Ukraine, have uncovered an organized criminal group of five. Between 2016 and 2019, they embezzled funds from state enterprises critical to Ukraine’s defense and security, all of which were part of the "Ukroboronprom" concern. The total amount exceeds UAH 107.2 million.

NABU and SAPO keep momentum in combating corruption at all levels. In the second half of 2024, detectives and prosecutors uncovered many high-profile schemes in key state sectors, exposed bribery, and illicit enrichment.

NABU and SAPO conducted a large-scale operation called “Clean City” to eliminate corruption in the land and budget sphere of Kyiv. The activities of a criminal organization headed by a media-famous former deputy of the Kyiv City Council (KCC) were exposed and terminated. One of the key activities involved seizing valuable land for development and influencing the local authorities' decisions on granting land rights.

NABU and SAPO have charged the husband of an MP with laundering assets, illegally acquired by his wife, and failing to declare those assets.

NABU and SAPO have exposed four persons who, under martial law, formed an organized criminal group and misappropriated over UAH 129 million allocated for restoring critical infrastructure in the Dnipropetrovs'k region.
