On March 22, 2023, NABU and SAPO exposed a criminal organization led by the former head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine. In the course of 2019-2021, its members embezzled UAH 500 million from JSC "Odesa Port Plant" and JSC "United Mining and Chemical Company". The amount of illegal profit received by the group during the entire period of control over Odesa Port Plant exceeds UAH 2 billion.
NABU has completed the probe into an attempt by a former Mykolaivoblenerho JSC (70% state-owned) official to give an improper advantage to the head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine. On June 3, 2021, SAPO Prosecutors filed an indictment drawn up by NABU Detectives to court. The actions of the accused fall under Part 4 Article 369 (offering, promising or giving an illegal benefit to an official) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
NABU and SAPO have completed an investigation in respect of a former official of Mykolaivoblenerho JSC (70% of shares belong to the state) exposed offering an improper advantage to the Head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine for getting employed as the head of the same enterprise (managed by SPFU). On April 22, 2021, the case materials were disclosed to the defense for review.
The Detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) under the procedural guidance of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) have completed the pre-trial investigation into an attempt to give USD 800 thousand of improper advantage to the Head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU). On February 26, 2020, an indictment regarding the person who offered the improper advantage was sent to court. His actions fall under Part 4 Article 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
On December 8, 2020, the Detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) under the procedural guidance of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor`s Office (SAPO) exposed the official of the Mykolayivoblenerho PJSC (70% state-owned) on attemp to give an improper advantage to the Head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU). On December 9, 2020, he was given a notice of suspicion.
