On March 20, 2023, NABU and SAPO announced suspicion on three accomplices of the ex-director of the State Reserve Agency of Ukraine, whose actions led to more than UAH 200 million in damages to the state.
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) have completed the investigation of a corruption scheme to misappropriate 1.56 thousand tons of grain worth almost UAH 12 million. On July 13, 2022, the case file was disclosed to the defense before its referral to court.
On July 27, 2021, NABU and SAPO notified three persons of suspicion of implementing a corruption scheme to seize 1.56 thousand tons of grain worth more than UAH 12 million. Their actions fall under Part 5 Art. 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
NABU and SAPO completed a pre-trial investigation as of the facts of giving USD 40 thousand of improper advantage to the Head of the State Reserve Agency of Ukraine (SRAU) by the Head of one of the Departments of the SRAU and his accomplice. On November 27, 2020, the indictment as of abovementioned persons was sent to the court.
