NABU and SAPO, jointly with the Strategic Investigations Department of the National Police in Zakarpattia region, have exposed a judge of the Volovets District Court taking a bribe.

NABU and SAPO have served a suspicion notice on two persons who falsified evidence in a criminal case concerning the sale of a prime city-center plot in Zakarpattia at a reduced price.

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, and the Security Service of Ukraine have exposed the city mayor and the head of the district council in Zakarpattia who abused their official positions to sell a land plot in the city center, over 3 hectares in size, at a significantly undervalued price.

On Oct. 24-25, 2023, NABU and SAPO served charges on an incumbent MP and three other persons who attempted to take over a 320-hectare land plot.
