UAH 230M transferred to state budget thanks to NABU, SAPO, SPFU

Thanks to the joint efforts of NABU, SAPO and the central office of the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU), UAH 230 million has been returned to the state budget.

During an investigation of one of the cases, detectives and prosecutors uncovered inaction by the leadership of a regional branch of the State Property Fund. As a result, the state risked losing UAH 230 million.

To prevent these losses, NABU and SAPO notified the central leadership of the SPFU about the situation and provided access to part of the investigative materials.

After reviewing this information, the State Property Fund took the necessary measures and secured the transfer of UAH 230 million to the state budget.

NABU and SAPO continue to cooperate with other state agencies to effectively protect the state’s economic interests and prevent corruption crimes.
