NABU and SAPO economic impact hits UAH 2.06B in H1 2026
The economic effect of NABU and SAPO activities in the first half of 2026 reached UAH 2.06 billion.
In the first half of 2026, over UAH 139 million was transferred to strengthen the Defense Forces of Ukraine. This includes bail, funds, property, and other assets directed to the needs of the military by court decisions. The total volume of assets transferred for the defense of the state as of June 30, 2026, exceeds UAH 3.2 billion.
In addition, thanks to the work of anti-corruption agencies, UAH 726 million was saved during the procurement of UAVs for the needs of the Defense Forces.
The amount of funds reimbursed to the state in NABU and SAPO cases (both in ongoing proceedings and those sent to court) over the first six months of the year exceeded UAH 864 million. In total, as of June 30, 2026, UAH 12.3 billion has been reimbursed to the state thanks to NABU and SAPO.
Furthermore, a number of decisions on the confiscation of funds and property to the state revenue entered into force, totaling over UAH 321 million (excluding assets whose value has not been determined). A separate contribution was made by civil forfeiture: under the decisions that have already entered into force, another UAH 4.2 million was transferred to the budget.
The amount of fines levied by the court to the state revenue from persons involved in NABU and SAPO criminal proceedings stands at UAH 736,100.
