Artem Sytnyk appointed the Director of the NABU Territorial Office in Lviv
On June 7, 2016 Taras Lopushanskiy was appointed the Director of the Lviv Territorial Office of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine. The NABU Director Artem Sytnyk signed the corresponding decree on Monday, June 6.
Taras Lopushanskiy had won an open competition among 47 candidates and successfully passed a lie detector verification. The new Lviv Territorial Office Director has 10 years of experience in legal profession, two university degrees in law and philology; he has shown a strong commitment to fight corruption for the better future of Ukraine.
Lviv Territorial Directorate will have two pisions: Witnesses and Applicants Management Division and Division for Ensuring Operation of the Director of the Lviv Territorial Office (patronage service). In total the Lviv Territorial Office will be staffed with 15 people cumulatively. The open competition for the vacant seats will start shortly.
“One of my first tasks is to organize the work of Territorial Office, i.e. premises, material and technical equipment etc. As soon as the new Civil Oversight Council starts functioning, it will be possible for us to announce an open competition for vacant seats,” pointed out Taras Lopushanskiy.
It should be reminded that the Lviv Regional Office of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine was created by the Director`s decree on December 10, 2015. Its jurisdiction covers Lviv, Volyn, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne and Khmelnytskyi regions.
