Misstatements in MP's asset declaration: case sent to court
On Oct. 21, 2022, NABU and SAPO referred the case to court, accusing an incumbent MP of concealing assets in her e-declaration worth more than UAH 4.4 million. Such actions fall under Part 1Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
As established, the lawmaker failed to specify in her 2020 declaration the information on the lease (ownership) of two apartments in Kyiv, a share in a non-residential building in Kharkiv, and a car. The total value of this property exceeds UAH 4.4 million.
The lawmaker has been notified of suspicion this month.
The investigation was triggered by the results of an audit conducted by the National Agency for Corruption Prevention.
