Fight against corruption impossible without the united efforts of law enforcement agencies all over the world, Gizo Uglava

“Corruption in the 21st century has become a transnational phenomenon. Therefore, the fight against it is not only the task of a certain state, it is an issue global security,” First Deputy Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine Gizo Uglava said. The panel discussion “Fighting Corruption in the Countries of the Eastern Partnership” within the framework of the VI Annual Conference of the Estonian Center for Eastern Partnership took place in Tallinn on February 8, 2019.

NABU Director visited Estonian law enforcement agencies

The Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) Artem Sytnyk during his visit to the Republic of Estonia got acquainted with the work of its law-enforcement system. The visit took place on November 15-16, 2018, in extension of cooperation between the NABU and the Estonian Center of Eastern Partnership (ECEAP).

NABU and the Estonian Center of Eastern Partnership agreed on cooperation

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Estonian Center of Eastern Partnership (ECEAP) will exchange information and experience in the area of detection and investigation of corruption and corruption-related offences.  The Memorandum on Cooperation was signed on June 6, 2017, in Kyiv by the NABU Director Artem Sytnyk and the ECEAP Director Jaan Reinhold.
