Ex-Head of the PJSC “State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine” detained in Lithuania
The former Chairman of the Board of PJSC “State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine” (hereinafter referred to as the SFGCU) was detained in Vilnius (Lithuania). Since March 2017, he has been sought as a suspect in criminal proceeding as of the fact of causing of over 60 million USD damage to the SFGCU.
EU Anti-Corruption Initiative organized study visit of the NABU and the SAPO to Lithuania
On August 28-29, 2017, with the support of the European Union's Anti-Corruption Initiative in Ukraine (EUACI) program the representatives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) were studying the experience of Lithuanian law enforcement agencies in investigating corruption crimes as of the facts of illegal enrichment. The Ukrainian delegation met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius, who emphasized on importance of anti-corruption reform for the future of Ukraine.
NABU`s investigations help to reduce unprofitability of the State Enterprises – Artem Sytnyk
Thanks to the work of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) the activities of State Enterprises have become more transparent. Thus, the effectiveness of the state assets use efficiency is increasing. This was underlined by the NABU Director Artem Sytnyk at the meeting with the representatives of the Special Investigation Service (STT) on March 27, 2017.
