On August 3, 2023, NABU and SAPO notified the owner of the Finance and Credit Group of suspicion of providing an undue advantage to the head and judges of the Supreme Court in exchange for a decision in his favor in a commercial case. His actions fall under Part 2 Article 15, Part 4 Article 27, Part 4 Article 369, and Part 2 Article 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
On July 21, 2023, NABU detectives, following the instructions of SAPO prosecutors, transferred USD 600,000 for the needs of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine. The money was seized in 2016 as part of the investigation into the so-called "gas case". The transfer of funds became possible thanks to the decision of the HACC.
