"NABU investigates" online game wins Best Practices in Educational Innovations contest

The awareness-raising efforts of the National Bureau have been recognized at the state level as the anti-corruption online game “NABU investigates” has won a contest launched by the National Agency of Ukraine for Civil Service.

The interactive format and unique materials of the game help increase the level of knowledge and skills in exposing illegal actions by public officials. To complete it successfully one has to conduct a series of investigative actions, collect evidence, serve a notice of suspicion, and finally send the case to court. Therefore, it can be useful for young investigators who start to work in law enforcement as well as for law students, investigative journalists, and public activists who expose corruption.

The award ceremony took place on Nov. 24, 2021, at the National Agency of Ukraine for Civil Service.

The interactive game “NABU investigates” was developed by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine jointly with the online education studio EdEra with the support of the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative. Over 16 thousand users have completed it so far.
