NABU Detectives completed an unique course on the Countering Organized Crime

During July-August, 2019, the Detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) acquired new skills and methods within the course on the Countering Organized Crime (Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany).

The participation of the NABU representatives became possible due to support of the US Embassy in Ukraine, the European Center executives, and the personal support of the Head of the course Professor Joseph Vann.

The four-week training course on the Countering Organized Crime was developed for government officials and practitioners in the areas of combating corruption, countering drug trafficking, preventing terrorist organization's acts and criminal activities, etc.

The Secretary of Defense of the USA supports the course program. It covers the issues related to the fight against organized crime on a global scale and describes highly specialized methods to counter transnational crime groups and terrorist organizations.

Besides eight NABU Detectives, 104 law enforcement officials from 53 countries of the world completed the course.
