NABU, SAPO, and NACP call on GlobE Network to suspend russia’s membership
Leaders of anti-corruption bodies appealed to the Global Operational Network of Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Authorities (GlobE Network) in order to terminate russia’s membership in the organization.
The corresponding letter was signed by the Director of the National Bureau Artem Sytnyk, Acting Head of the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office Maksym Hryshchuk, and the Head of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention Oleksandr Novikov.
“In light of this extraordinary situation, we urge the Chair, the Vice-Chair, and the Supervisory Board of the GlobE Network to urgently convene an extraordinary session of the GlobE Plenary to pass necessary amendments to the GlobE Charter and terminate the membership of the russian federation in the Network. We ask you to add your voices to those who condemn this barbarian attack of the russian federation”, – stated the leaders of anti-corruption institutions.
