Semen Kryvonos
Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine
Semen Kryvonos was born on January 16, 1983 in Mariupol.
Education
2000, graduated from secondary school No. 11 of Kremenchuk, the Poltava region.
2005, graduated from the National Agrarian University, majoring in "Agronomy".
2007, graduated from the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine and obtained a master's degree in public administration.
2010, graduated from the National University of Bioresources and Nature Management, majoring in "Jurisprudence", and obtained the qualification of a specialist in law.
Employment
2007, assumed the position of chief specialist of the family and youth unit, the Department for Family, Youth and Sports of the Holosiivska District State Administration of Kyiv.
2011 - 2015, worked in the territorial units of the Ministry of Justice in the Odesa and Kyiv regions.
2015 - 2016, held the position of first deputy head of the Odesa Customs Service of the Federal Tax Service. There, he implemented the anti-corruption project "Open Customs Space" aimed at eliminating smuggling schemes.
Upon resigning from customs, Semen Kryvonos worked as a senior legal adviser at the International Development Law Organization (IDLO).
2018, received a lawyer certificate and practiced law individually and as part of a law firm.
2020 - 2021, was the head of the NGO "Office of Simple Solutions and Results". Participated in the development of the concepts of a number of reforms, which were presented during the meetings of the National Reform Council under the President of Ukraine.
May 2021 - March 2023, held the position of Head of the State Inspectorate for Architecture and Urban Planning of Ukraine, which substituted the State Architecture and Building Inspection of Ukraine.
On March 6, 2023, Semen Kryvonos assumed the post of Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine.
