NABU has signed Memorandum with EUAM

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine has signed the Memorandum of Understanding with the European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM) Ukraine. The Memorandum is aimed at deepening parties’ cooperation for implementation of the anti-corruption reforms in Ukraine.

According to the Memorandum, EUAM will provide NABU with assistance in strengthening the internal control functions, carrying out trainings for detectives, strengthening professional skills of Bureau specialists as well as setting up the interviewing rooms, etc.

In order to ensure close cooperation, the EUAM specialists will be provided with a separate room in NABU premises.  It is also planned to hold regular meetings for discussing  ongoing joint activities and the results of  activities, already performed within Memorandum’s frame.

It should be reminded that the Law of Ukraine “About the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine” allows to implement logistics of the Bureau at the expense of the State Budget of Ukraine and resources provided within the projects of international technical support.
